Hinged Lid Wooden Box
Program Description
In this class students will build a traditional wooden box with strong box joints and a hinged lid. Box joints are an excellent introduction to precision joinery and are commonly used in many woodworking projects.
Students will learn how to cut box joints using a router and jig, assemble the box accurately, and install small brass hinges using chisels for precise fitting. The result is a clean, classic hinged box suitable for keepsakes or small storage.
This class is appropriate for beginners who want to develop fundamental woodworking skills while building a practical project.
